We seek to help the Lubbock community by providing opportunities in education and arts to the under-served populations which includes, but not limited to, the Hispanic, African American, and Veteran communities.

Our Goal is to educate and inspire people to work together.

Vision

Manos Unidas provides assistance and raises awareness to communities through nutritional, health, well-being, cultural activities, and sports programs in under privileged neighborhoods.

Sports Scholarships

We are currently conducting a drive to provide athletic scholarships to underprivileged children to play in local youth athletic leagues. This initiative would cover the complete cost of registration, uniforms and necessary equipment for our deserving youth.

Community Outreach

We are dedicated to improving the opportunities and quality of life to members of our West Texas and Lubbock communities. Organically or with other organizations, we conduct outreach programs focused on sharing opportunities and providing services to populations that are historically underserved.

About Us

The non-profit was formed in 2018 by a local attorney that was raised in Lubbock, Texas and knows the community. We provide assistance and raise awareness to communities through nutritional, health, well-being, cultural activities, and sports programs in under privileged neighborhoods.

We work with other local community leaders to make sure that certain populations have access to an active and healthy social life.

“Manos Unidas West Texas was a recipient of an Operation Round Up Community Grant. From the provided grant money, Manos Unidas sponsored four kids to play Little League baseball who without the assistance, would be unable to participate due to its cost. As a result from the opportunity, these children engaged in a transformative activity that blossomed their confidence and enthusiasm.”
