Lubbock’s Youth – Support the Pa’lla Vamos Fiesta

Positive experiences, like playing sports, can be transformative for children, especially those from underserved communities. That belief motivated me to establish Manos Unidas, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, in 2017.

At Manos Unidas, we focus on educating and offering preventive activities for youth from low-income families in Lubbock. Thanks to generous support from grants and local partners, we have awarded over 120 sports scholarships to children in the past three years, giving them the chance to play soccer, baseball, and basketball, and to participate in martial arts. We are excited to see how your compassion and support have allowed this program to grow significantly. Those of you who attended last year's banquet, the money raised from that event alone has provided 48 scholarships to local families so far and for the last 3 years provided 100 scholarships.

To further this mission, we are excited to host the third annual Pa’lla Vamos Fiesta on October 24th, a lively fundraiser inspired by a song that highlights resilience and unity. But beyond the celebration, there is a serious purpose.

Join us to celebrate life & giving back to our community. All of the funds raised from this event will go directly towards Manos Unidas' vision to provide opportunities for our children to participate in community wide sports.
